Electronic Technician - 2nd/3rd Shift


Job Details

As an Electronics Technician, you will lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems used in the manufacturing and assembly process.

In this Role, your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Tests faulty equipment and applies knowledge of functional operation of electronics to diagnose cause of malfunction and repair same.
  • Inspect completed repair work to verify repair was completed successfully and is now functioning as it should.
  • Tests electronic components and circuits to locate defects.
  • Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
  • Sets up standard test apparatus or devises test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
  • Analyzes and interprets test data.
  • Adjusts, calibrates, aligns, and modifies circuitry and components.
  • Checks functioning of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.

For this Role, You Will Need:

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Journeyperson's card from an accredited source.
  • Experience working with Mechanical, Welding, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Electrical systems.
  • Experience working in a CMMS environment.
  • Must have basic computer skills and proficient using computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Must be organized and able to work with little supervision.
  • All other duties as assigned.
