Not all heroes wear capes, sometimes they wear utility belts. As the Service Manager, you will be performing several tasks in general and/or specialized maintenance and repairs, applying proficient skills in several maintenance trade disciplines, and supervising a team of technicians and assistants. You will work hand in hand with the Property Manager, prepping for new move-ins, assisting with repairs for current residents, and turning new apartments after move-outs. You will be the leader in maintaining the community and ensuring it remains in a high-quality condition. Your hard work will help result in happy residents and renewals at the end of the lease term.
Education: High school or equivalent. (Required)
Experience: One to five years of:
Leading a maintenance team and overseeing a property maintenance budget.
Expertise in the elements of construction/installation, uses, repair, and maintenance including: minor carpentry, minor plumbing, mechanical and electrical, household appliances, framing and finishing walls, doorways, roofs, and other elements of wooden structures
Installing and repairing sinks, drains, and toilets
Inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating mechanical parts and equipment, basic welding and metal work
Certifications/Licenses: HVAC, valid state drivers license, EPA, CPO
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
