Join Our Thriving Team of Technicians at Veriha Trucking!
Location and Schedule:
Our maintenance facility is based in Marinette, WI. After a 30 to 60-day training period, you'll work on a 2 days on/3 days off, followed by 3 days on/2 days off shift schedule, totaling 12-hour workdays.
Primary Responsibilities:
As a Tractor and Trailer Technician, you will be a vital asset in maintaining the safety and reliability of our fleet. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing preventative maintenance inspections, diagnostic tests, and repair work on medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
Diagnosing and resolving issues related to air brake systems, tires, electrical systems, power steering, driveline, and more.
Completing routine preventative maintenance tasks on tractor and trailer equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
Utilizing welding skills when required and maintaining a well-functioning inventory system.
Providing training to new mechanics and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in medium to heavy-duty truck repairs is preferred. Potential to train those with mechanical or small engine repairs.
Has or willingness to procure tool set. If doesn't have tool set, we can work with candidates on obtaining needed tools for role with discount.
Proficiency in diesel engines, electronics, and related fields.
Valid driver's license (Commercial Driving License preferred).
Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with team members and vendors.
Strong time management and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software programs.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a fast-paced team.
