FULL-TIME MONDAY FRIDAY DAYS WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS: AS NEEDED

Responsible for duties in support of departmental efficiencies which may include: but not limited to effective scheduling testing for radiology procedure appointments, physician appointments and events for the four (4) Broward Health facilities, our Broward Health Physician Group (BHPG) and Community Health Services (CHS) Clinics from the customer or physician to ensure optimization while improving customer service relations to support the financial viability for Broward Health, and any other duties as directed by Management. The position works directly with Marketing, Community Health System (CHS), Population Health to be able to implement strategic marketing and other patient care plans for the CAC. In addition, the role will proactively identify and develop best practice in all areas while improving the customer experience, physician satisfaction, and steadily increase our volumes.

Communicates with patients, physicians and their office staff, various units in the hospital, nursing and other personnel including; nursing homes and other health care institutions, to obtain and ensure the integrity of information to support the efficiency and accuracy for the Revenue Cycle with efforts to reduce errors in coding and billing. Also, to ensure accuracy of patient identity to reduce and help eliminate rejections and denials while following Broward Healths standards of Care, provides world-class customer service complaints.

Our Customer Service Representatives are to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction and to meet the organization goals for customer service and financial performance. Responsible for educating and providing Patients with information pertaining their upcoming appointment information to our facility, upcoming events and/or physician office appointment. The position will require the ability to execute and maybe required to explain medical necessity on Medicare and Managed Medicare payers.

The job requires an adherence to Broward Healths financial policies & procedures, accurate selections of patient demographics, including but not limited to demographics, insurance plan selection, gender preference, insurance (workers comp, commercial, governmental or liability) to support the integrity of the revenue cycle and the financial viability of Broward Health.

Graduate of an accredited LPN or the equivalent on the job training and experience in a healthcare scheduling environment.

Two (2) years of experience in clinical environment and procedures required. One (1) year clinical nursing experience preferred.
