Job Details

The Professional Sales Specialist at Southwest Specialty Food, Inc. is responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing programs for the company's retail accounts. Success in this role will involve cultivating relationships with new and existing vendors. The primary measures of success will be increased profitable sales and strengthened account relationships. The Specialty Food industry is your main focus as well as growing and introducing our lines to large retail chains.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth through data-driven selling strategies
  • Develop and execute innovative promotional plans to drive profitable sales
  • Identify new business opportunities and maintain consistent follow-up
  • Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines promptly
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between vendors and internal departments
  • Willingness to work in house and travel up to 20% to trade shows and customer locations


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business
  • Five years of sales experience in the Specialty Food trade, Novelty or Gift industries.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding customer expectations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft desktop and ERP systems


Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
