Receptionist
Job Details
Responsibilities:
Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately
Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
Provide accurate information in-person and via phone and email
Receive, sort and distribute daily mail and deliveries
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
Order office and kitchen supplies and keep inventory of stock
Maintain the conference center calendar
Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
Support the event team with ad hoc requests
Create and maintain documents in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Qualifications:
Strong organizational, communication, time management and multitasking skills
Ability to build positive relationships with vendors, team members, attendees and stakeholders
Exceptional Microsoft Office Suite capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Professional attitude and appearance
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Customer service attitude
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Bachelor s Degree preferred
