Inside Sales Professional
Job description:
Warshauer Electric Supply Company, founded in 1954, and one of the largest independently owned electrical wholesalers in the United States, is looking for qualified candidates for an Inside Sales Professional position. This role can be based out of any of our 5 locations in Parsippany, New Brunswick, Tinton Falls, Lakewood, or Woodbury New Jersey.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Handle customer inquiries both over the phone and in-person.
- Prospect and network for new customers on a continuous basis.
- Assist customers post sales with expediting returns, change orders, or general customer service functions.
- Help maintain an organized work environment.
- Make recommendations back to management on a consistent basis for new products to be taken into stock.
- Be cross-trained in other areas of Warshauer Electric Supply to better suit your customer s needs and provide a true one-stop shopping experience.
- All required reports back to management must be made in a timely fashion.
Requirements:
- The desired candidate must be self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a dynamic business environment.
- Experience working with a team to solve problems or achieve a goal.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to use discretion and make decisions independently.
- Experienced and comfortable using technology including AI.
- Computer knowledge utilizing Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook a must.
- Prior sales experience, electrical trade experience, 4-year college degree and any other industry experience a plus but not required.
This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to meet challenging deadlines. It will require strong people skills in a dynamic sales environment.
