# Regional One Health is currently seeking a Payroll Assistant. # JOB SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:# Provides assistance in processing bi-weekly employee payroll.# Performs a variety of accounting and clerical duties to maintain accurate payroll and time and attendance systems. # JOB REQUIREMENTS: # # EDUCATION: Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related area preferred.# Additional education/ experience may be required specific to area of assignment. # # EXPERIENCE: Twenty-four (24) months experience and/or any combination of training/experience related to data entry, payroll, accounting and assembling/filing data (previous payroll experience preferred).# Demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills required to meet job demands.# Experience with PC based spreadsheet and financial software required.# # PHYSICAL DEMANDS:# High volume data entry requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, visual acuity to operate standard office equipment and sitting for long periods. # #
