Mechanic 1 or 2 - Concentrator

East Boulder Mine - McLeod, MT
Schedule:
5x4x4x5 - Straight Days
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs of Ball Mills and SAG Mills, gear boxes, centrifugal and vertical turbine pumps, vibrating screens, jaw crushers, cone crushers and conveyor systems.
- Perform a variety of building maintenance tasks.
- Able to work without direct supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:Required:- Millwright or similar background with welding and mechanical experience.
- Housekeeping standards maintained to high level.
- Basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- General blueprint knowledge.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Understanding of and strong commitment to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Preferred:- Previous mining experience.
