Now hiring for Warehouse Associate. Spherion of Rhode Island currently has Warehouse Associate opportunities available to support our local, industry leading customer. Our Warehouse Associate will be working a first shift with limited required OT. The Warehouse Associate will support our customers for operating forklifts, moving materials throughout the warehouse, and loading/unloading trucks in a timely and efficient manner; Mon thru Fri. Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.
Perform loading and unloading duties using appropriate handling techniques.
Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are properly documented.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist in counting and verifying inventory.
Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Participate in periodic inventory audits as required.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a warehouse setting.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

High School

1-4 years
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate or similar role.
Operate forklifts
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and inventory.
Strong work ethic and a team player mentality.
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
