SUMMARY
DSJ is currently partnered with a unionized multi-billion dollar pharmaceutical company who are now searching for an EHS Specialist within the Research Triangle Park area. You will be responsible for developing and updating EHS compliance standards, identifying potential hazards, and conducting Job Safety Analysis and risk assessments. This company is strong in stability, employee support and development, and believes in having a strong safety culture!
EHS Specialist Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Process Hazard Analysis activities
- Conduct safety investigations of incidents, injuries, and accidents
- Provide trainings on EHS related protocols and practices
- Serve on the Emergency Response Team
EHS Specialist Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health, Chemical Engineering or other related fields
- 3-5+ years of EHS experience
- Experience with working in a highly regulated environment
- Knowledge of FDA, cGMP, EPA, and OSHA regulations
- Ability to work on call or weekends when needed

Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000
