Job Details
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the development of financial models, analyses, and key business metrics that serve as the tools to drive profitable business growth. This role requires synthesizing of operation and financial results, the analysis of monthly trends, KPIs, and the analysis of operations declining budgets vs actual variances. This role will also partner with functional leaders to enable informed analytics-driven decision making. In addition, this role will also support monthly business reviews and ensure continuity in KPI oversight and financial management.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth financial analysis for complex real estate and restaurant transactions, create pro forma financial models and sensitivity analyses to aid senior leadership in determining financial considerations. Have direct involvement in the creation and presentation of financial modeling.
- Underwrite and budget acquisition, refinancing, construction, and renovation projects.
- Prepare and analyze restaurant financial information through graphics, charts, spreadsheets, and other presentation formats.
- Assist with the transaction diligence and execution process.
- Prepare investment and financing memorandums for executive leadership.
- Perform financial analysis for the company restaurant portfolio and operations.
- Prepare quarterly reporting and assist with lender relations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in accounting/finance, business, or related field.
- 3-5 years in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Previous experience with cash flow reporting
- Solid business modeling, forecasting and budgeting experience including ability to create complex financial models.
- Strong research, analytical skills, pro-active problem solver and self-motivated to perform tasks above and beyond responsibility
- Advanced skills in preparation, manipulation and organization of Adobe PDF files
- Must be capable of working in fast-paced, self-directed, and changing environment and must have the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, and Powerpoint skills.
- Past experience in FRx, MAS500, and/or Yardi also a plus
