Description

Auditing; including Dock, First Time Quality, Gaging, Processes, Incoming inspection

Active communication alerts update and reporting

Issuing Communication alerts and containments

Containment sheet communication

Maintain First Time Quality and Port check sheets

Communicating and Maintaining Tool move Matrix

Communicate part appearance criteria

Assist and support Problem Solving and continuous improvement teams

Assist and support cross functional teams as needed

Position Requirements

REQUIRED:

High level of analytical ability with emphasis on problem solving and root cause analysis

Highly motivated to attain work objectives, self-starter

Excellent organization and planning skills

High level of interpersonal skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Knowledge of basic manufacturing and assembly processes

Knowledge of basic Quality tools: PPAP, Control Plans, PFMEA's, PFD's, Gage R&R's, Run @ Rate, Operator instructions, and IMDS

Knowledge of GM Quality Requirements

Ability to learn and navigate through Plex

PREFERRED:

Prior proven Quality experience, Automotive desired

5+ years industrial/manufacturing experience

Knowledge of statistical process control procedures

Knowledge of AIAG, IATF, APQP

Formal problem-solving experience: Shainin, Six Sigma, etc.

Knowledge of vehicle interior parts, assemblies, and related part constructions and/or designs

Education Requirement
High School Diploma with at least 3+ years of equivalent work experience and/or training
