Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year (Flexible based on experience)
Required Experience:
4-7 years of experience in either water and sewer design or transportation design
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred for respective positions
WSSC (Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission) experience preferred for water and sewer design position
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Job Description: We are currently seeking two experienced CADD Operators/Technicians to join our team in Baltimore, MD, and Lanham, MD. These positions offer an opportunity to work on exciting projects in either water and sewer design or transportation design. The ideal candidates will have 4-7 years of experience in their respective fields and possess strong technical skills in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD).
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize CADD software to produce detailed drawings and plans for water and sewer systems or transportation projects
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop design solutions and ensure project objectives are met
Conduct site visits and assist in field surveys as needed
Review and interpret project specifications and requirements
Maintain accurate documentation and records of design changes and revisions
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to address project needs and concerns
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
4-7 years of experience in water and sewer design or transportation design
Proficiency in CADD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred for respective positions
WSSC experience preferred for water and sewer design position
Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
