Consumer products manufacturer seeks to hire a CREATIVE and COLLABORATIVE mechanical product design engineer. The product design team collaborates with Sales, R&D and the product development engineers to design innovative products. This involves the design, prototype creation, manufacturing and testing of a product in order to meet the customer's expectations and consider their preferences.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales and marketing to analyze end-user surveys, client feedback and marketability feedback
- Design: Create new design concepts
- Analyzing materials
- Develop and Test the prototypes
- Consider user preferences
Requirements:
- BS Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- 3+ years mechanical or electro--mechanical design in Consumer products, Medical device
- Skilled with SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD or other design software
- Experience with full lifecyle product design process
- Good communication and team collaboration skills
- Critical thinker
- Coachable and Flexible - The pace is dynamic so collaboration skills are critical
