**Customer Service & Compliance Officer (Sonoma, CA)**

The position of **Customer Service & Compliance Officer** is responsible for assisting in the production of domestic and export sales orders, sku set up and management across our wholesale network, ensuring Cline Cellars and its subsidiaries are compliant with federal and state alcoholic beverage laws including maintaining valid licenses and permits for the company, as well as assisting as required with filing TTB label approvals and state brand registrations. Further, the data entry function is responsible for accuracy in the master data in Navision, interfacing with winemaking and bottling operations when necessary, will support other department functions, such as entering billbacks, sample requests, procurement and other tasks as assigned by Director. This is an administrative position that reports through to the Senior Vice-President of Sales. Full-time, Mon-Fri. * Perform a wide variety of administrative and support functions including data entry, filing, copying, scanning, answering phones, research, and other office support functions

* Create new or update existing spreadsheets, correspondence, and procedures

* Maintain and follow written procedures for compliance processes

* File amendments or new applications for U.S. Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) Federal Basic Permits

* File amendments and new applications for state and local licenses and permits

* Submit the following types of applications to state beverage alcohol regulatory agencies:

+ brand registrations,

+ brand renewals, and

+ brand changes as necessary for assigned states

* Respond to alcohol regulatory compliance questions from internal staff

* Maintain all data and files for federal and state licenses and permits

* Enter and maintain data in Navision

* Enter and maintain wine item specs for shipping

* Manage incoming chargebacks, oversee the review procedures, and process through NAV. Includes interdepartmental correspondence and support with Finance/Accounting

* Coordinate sample requests and ensure fulfilment deadlines are met

* Maintain other incoming forms/requests

* Provide support for logistics scheduling

* Support Director with tasks as assigned

* Enjoys data entry, management and integrity of systems.

* Ability to maintain composure under pressure and while multi-tasking and taking direction on multiple projects.

* Proactively communicate with management regarding deadlines and ongoing prioritization of workload.

* Discretion in handling highly sensitive and confidential matters.

* Conduct and manage significant amounts of data and research.

* Manage multiple projects simultaneously and see them through to completion.

* College Degree Preferred; or a combination or College/Work Experience.

* Minimum three years' experience in an administrative role or 1-year experience with an alcoholic beverage regulatory compliance company.

* Experience with TTB permitting process and state licensing/permitting processes is highly desirable but not required.

* Understanding of out of state alcohol compliance laws and TTB labeling requirements a plus.

* Proficiency in MS Office - particularly Excel and Word. Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience a plus.

* Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills.

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Ability to prioritize between several projects at a time and manage time efficiently.

* Must be able to sit for long periods, bend, twist, squat and lift up to 40 lbs. on occasion

* Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

* Fine motor skills needed for frequent computer usage and handwritten tasks

* The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
