Job Details
Applicant must have a Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent and 5-12 years' experience in institutional, industrial & commercial projects. Experience should include both design & production with a proficiency in using both AutoCAD and Revit software. Professional registration preferred. Must work within Pickering s corporate philosophy of performing quality work for our clients, to treat employees as our prime asset and to be active, responsible members of the community.
Responsibilities
- Create plans and drawings which clearly outline architectural design of project
- Utilize knowledge of engineering, math, science and materials in order to create ideal finished product
- Conduct site evaluations to ensure quality of work and adherence to safety standards
- Oversee and make recommendations throughout entire construction process
- Collaborate with various teams in order to establish goals, schedules and budgets
- Adhering to all industry standards in design
- Specifying project requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture
- Professional Registration
- 5-12 years of experience in construction and architecture
- Strong organizational, creative and presentation skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
