Patient Enrollment Specialist (Southern California and New York Only)

BackgroundMovn Health is enrolling a full-time Patient Enrollment Specialist (based in Southern California or state of New York only). As part of this role, you will own and improve processes that drive patient enrollments. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients to a new and improved quality of life. By serving as an inside sales representative, you will educate patients about the benefits of rehab and the Movn Health program and act as the door to healthier hearts for those interested in joining our program. Ideal candidates are those who can combine a passion for sales with clinical knowledge and expertise.ResponsibilitiesOwn, manage, convert, and enroll an assigned referral base of potential patients.Make outbound calls to prospective patients to explain details about the program and enrollServe as the first point of contact for individuals who come to us by way of referral or website or other inbound means.Ensuring that the patient receives a detailed explanation of Movn Health's services.Handle questioning and feedback within each calls who are interested in enrollingWork to ensure the efficient scheduling of patient appointments.Perform insurance verification as required to navigate patient questions related to coverageLeverage internal teams to answer patient questions and resolve issues thoroughlyWork with Movn's clinical staff and staff at referring physician offices to improve operational processesSetup Movn patient-facing app as neededWork within Movn's EHR to coordinate care for patientRequirements2+ years of experience in an inside sales B2C role or a patient scheduling/enrollment role at a physician practice2+ years of work experience in a healthcare environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with little directionAbility to track and report on a key metric or several key metrics that define your successThis position requires physical presence in either Southern California or state of New YorkAbout Movn HealthMovn Health, is a telehealth cardiovascular services company that is increasing access to cardiac rehab and helping patients recover faster at home through an innovative app-based virtual cardiac rehab program. Our programs were developed in collaboration with Stanford Medicine and is based on 20+ years of research on over 70,000 patients across six randomized clinical trials. Our program has successfully improved cardiac rehab participation rates, member outcomes and lowered readmission at marquee organizations like CDPHP, Kaiser Permanente, Highmark Health Plan, Allegheny Health Network and the Veteran Affairs.
