**General Description:**
The Controller oversees the strategic and day-to-day operations of the Financial Reporting Department. They are responsible for the development of their Financial Reporting Manager, both technically and professionally, and the other members of their team; partnering with financial leadership to facilitate the understanding of the company's financial performance; timely and accurate monthly close process with analysis; the annual budget; and responsible for any other projects or initiatives. The position will report to the Financial Reporting Director.
**Responsibilities**
**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Demonstrate appropriate understanding/working knowledge and application of accounting principles and internal controls including accrual accounting
+ Support the Accounting team in close procedures and processes
+ Oversee the detailed review of the monthly financial statements
+ Perform consolidations of monthly financials for a global company
+ Lead the preparation of the annual budget including all supporting schedules for multiple currencies. Consolidate budget into USD at the top level.
+ Provide accurate and timely financial analysis, reporting, and insights on a monthly basis
+ Work cross-functionally to support departmental decision-making with forecasting, planning, reporting and analytics
+ Produce and review constant currency reporting
+ Manage, develop and evaluate financial reporting staff
+ Partners with various departments including financial operations, tax, Allegis accounting, AP, etc.
+ Misc projects and initiatives
**Qualifications**
**Requirements:**
**Required Education and/or Experience** :
Accounting or Finance degree or applicable coursework
Financial Consolidation Experience in a Global Company
Hyperion / FCCS experience required
4+ years supervisory experience
7+ years general ledger and financial reporting experience
PeopleSoft, nVision, and Cognos skills preferred
Advanced Excel skills
