Job Details

The primary role of the Industrial Maintenance Technician is to develop the skills and ability to continuously improve the reliability, efficiency, and utilization of plant equipment and manufacturing processes. This is accomplished through training on the job with an experienced Technician and completion of vocational training through a local college.

Technical Skills


A comprehensive knowledge of industrial mechanics. Basic understanding of tig welding principles, single phase & three phase electrical, motor control circuits, PLC's & frequency drives.


Accountabilities



  • Apply industrial maintenance skills and knowledge to install, maintain, and repair plant systems and equipment. - 45%

  • Initiate and perform condition monitoring tasks including preventive and predictive maintenance. - 30%

  • Troubleshoot equipment failures to ascertain possible failure modes and participate with operations, plant engineering, suppliers, and other associates to improve equipment reliability. - 15%

  • Utilize the company's Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) and supports its use as a key management information tool. - 5%

  • Recommend, develop, and implement system modifications to improve equipment operations and provide for attainment of plant and department goals. - 5%


Special Conditions


Working conditions may include working in and around powder dust, cleaning agents, confined space entries, and climbing to high heights.


Normal Shift Hours - 10pm-6am Tuesday-Saturday with OT scheduled as necessary


Pay Rate - Based on experience and qualifications (Wage Range - $22.00 to $27.00 + )
