We are currently accepting applications for the position of Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Crisis Residential Support (CRS) program, providing crisis mental health services to all age groups in Utah and Wasatch Counties.

This is a diversionary program to the jail and emergency room and our employees see a vast variety of pathologies, diagnoses and social systems. We have a team of nurses, front line staff, peer support specialists, case managers and therapists.

Compensation:

Registered Nurse: $29.80 - $37.75 per hour($61,984-$78.520 Annually) DOE

LPN: $20.53 - $26 per hour ($41,662-$54,080 Annually) DOE

Additionally, if you are proficient in Spanish, there is an opportunity for additional compensation after testing your language skills.

Schedule: Four days a week, 10 hours a day (specific days and hours may vary)

Essential Functions (Performs all or some of the following)

Monitors and administers medications for patients, provides patient/client education regarding medications and importance of treatment compliance; refers programs for clients needing life-coping skills; monitors effect of medication to recognizes adverse reactions.
Writes patient progress notes; records and documents doctor's orders; prepares and processes admissions/Intake paperwork; assures accuracy of billable work hours; participates in team reviews of treatment plans; verifies legal documentation and assures "audit" readiness.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited college with an associate's degree in nursing; plus, must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Utah. Preference will be given for experience in the field of mental health.

Licensed Practical Nurse: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
