Job Title: Azure Architect
Work Location: Lisle, IL (Hybrid Onsite)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. (Master's degree preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Azure Cloud technologies and services.
- Strong proficiency in Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Bricks(ADB), Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and other Azure data services.
- Extensive experience with data integration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data quality management.
- Solid understanding of data modelling concepts, data governance, and data security principles.
- Experience with Collibra or other data governance and metadata management tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data engineering issues and optimize system performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive, Plan and Develop blueprints and deliverables that help customers in advancing their Azure Cloud capabilities, involving both new solutions and migration of existing solutions
- Collaborate and Guide other team members to design and develop end-to-end processes aligning with the defined architecture.
- Regularly improve processes ensuring that high-quality information is delivered, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the AZURE architecture.
