Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimator based in Dallas, with 4 years of experience in Multifamily Renovation/Construction (CapEx Renovation). The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment where the emphasis is placed on teamwork and satisfying our client s needs.


Candidate should have strong attention to detail, communicate well, be self-motivated, a go-getter and well organized.


Please be local to the DFW area.


Job Details:

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for multifamily construction projects and CapEx renovations

Comprehend and analyze plans and requirements to establish overall scope of work

Provide detailed and precise quantity takeoffs

Determine labor and equipment costs

Analyze bid documents and identify project risks

Compare and analyze competitive subcontractor and supplier bids

Prepare bid packets

Create POs and Invoices for all front-end subcontractor items

Create a schedule and schedule of values

Assist with pricing Change Orders as needed during construction phases

Consistent customer follow-up for feedback on bid/proposals, reporting results to management

Attend job walks when required

Meet with investors/clients to review the project and create the scope of work

Interact with Owners and Management during evaluation to communicate access requirements, points of contact and expectations for evaluation

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through market research, effective networking, and lead generation

Build and nurture strong relationships with potential clients, property owners, property managers, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders

Collaborate with the executive team to formulate and execute comprehensive business development strategies and plans

Conduct competitive analysis to discern market trends, understand customer needs, and pinpoint potential areas for growth

Craft and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to engage prospective clients

Negotiate and successfully close business deals to meet and exceed revenue targets.

Providing regular and insightful reports and updates on business development activities to the management team.

Be proficient in Microsoft Office Word & Excel, Google docs & Google sheets, and share drives

Carry yourself professionally; both internally and externally

construction market.


Qualifications

  • Sales and business development experience with a proven track record of success
  • Strong project estimation skills, including the ability to create detailed cost estimates
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Experience in the construction industry, preferably in multifamily or commercial construction
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift


Experience:

  • Commercial Estimating: 4 years (Required)
  • Multi-family Estimating: 4 years (Preferred)


Ability to Relocate:

  • Dallas, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)
