Rafiki Coalition for Health and Wellness is a health, wellness, and fitness organization located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our mission is to eliminate health inequities in San Francisco's Black and marginalized communities by providing holistic health and wellness services in a culturally affirming environment. We offer a range of services including health education, movement classes, health screenings, advocacy, transitional housing, case management for individuals living with HIV/AIDS, trauma resiliency and mental health circles, and other health-promoting activities.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Therapist, MA level. As a Therapist, your day-to-day tasks will include conducting individual and group therapy sessions, assessing clients' mental health needs, developing treatment plans, providing crisis intervention, coordinating with other healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate and confidential client records. While this role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, there is flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Experience in providing therapy to diverse populations
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and culturally affirming practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred
• Experience working with individuals living with HIV/AIDS is a plus
