The Allegheny Health Network (AHN), Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Institute is seeking a full-time, board-certified neuropsychologist to provide mental health treatment at the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh, PA. The mission of the Behavioral Health Institute is to serve all members of our community, including the underserved. This multi-disciplinary team provides essential mental health services to an often overlooked population of people. Job Duties:
Present reliable/valid psychological and neuropsychological assessment data
Engage in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, the provision and oversight of treatment delivery and team functioning, and plan execution.
Enjoy regular and predictable schedules
See a wide variety of cases, with ample opportunity for patient education and follow-up
Work collaboratively with the mental health staff, medical staff and pharmacy staff to ensure delivery of high quality, reliable mental health treatment
Qualifications
- Must be board eligible/certified
- CBT-I training and service delivery background preferred
- Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
- DEA and CPR Certification required prior to employment
