Job Description Biotech Patent Agent or Technical Specialist
Our Client, an international law firm, seeking a PhD level scientist interested in pursuing a career in patent law to join our sophisticated Intellectual Property & Technology group, which focuses on the biotechnology/life science technologies. The person hired for this position will be part of an expert team and will work collaboratively with others, and to be trained to in patent prosecution. Responsibilities include:
- Draft and prosecute domestic and foreign patent applications in the fields of biotechnology and life sciences
- Conduct technical research to support clients technology
- Provide technical support for the practice

Skills required-

- PhD in a life science discipline is required
- Law firm or USPTO experience is not required, but is a plus
- Excellent communication skills

Salary DOE; range of $80K-$170K+
