Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Giclee Operator located in La Mirada, CA. As a Giclee Operator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with producing high-quality, digitally printed artworks. This includes operating and maintaining large-format printers, calibrating color profiles, inspecting prints for quality control, and organizing print files for production. This is a heavy production environment with specific daily targets. You will work closely with our team of artists and production staff to ensure the accurate reproduction of artworks and meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating and maintaining large-format printers
- Knowledge of color management and calibration
- Experience processing digital files on inject printers
- Provide basic maintenance to inkjet printers, including nozzle checks and changing toner
- Familiarity with RIP Software (Caldera) is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to inspect prints for quality control
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage print files
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in the art or printing industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
