CommuniCare Health Services is currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to facilitate timely and accurate claims submissions and processing. This position will be based out of our Central Billing Office in Linthicum Heights, MD and will serve facilities in that region.

QUALIFICATIONS
The qualified candidate will have 3 - 5 years experience in Long Term Care billing and will have thorough knowledge of long term care reimbursement laws and regulations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare necessary adjustments, obtain approval, and post to client accounts.
- Post all payments received against the appropriate claim.
- Obtain appropriate information for processing coinsurance and straight Medicaid claims so those charges can be billed in a timely manner.
- Verify accuracy of information with facility BOM.
- Assist with the Month end close process including printing all end of month reports and finalizing close.
- Prepare and submit monthly billings to appropriate third party payor sources.
- Research, resolve, resubmit, and/or appeal all suspended or denied claims in a timely manner.
- Review and audit A/R aging reports as necessary.
