Betterly has teamed up with a leading eCommerce clothing brand that s shaking things up in the apparel world. They re on the hunt for a talented Photo Retoucher to join the team. This is a full-time , in-office position in Los Angeles. The starting salary is between $65,000 - $70,000 depending on experience, plus generous benefits and the chance to work with an amazing team in a growth environment.
Responsibilities:
- Retouch and upload product photography images.
- Name and maintain digital asset files within our organization structure.
- Crop digital photographic images and maintain file size specification guidelines.
- Ensure color consistency between image assets.
- Upload assets to servers in accordance with calendars.
- Perform quality assurance on all images.
- Work with team to maintain brand consistency in image assets.
Requirements:
- BA degree in Photography or equivalent work experience.
- Strong color correction skills, matching images to physical samples.
- Two plus years of experience as a Photo Retoucher in the Fashion eCommerce industry.
- Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Detail oriented, organized, and methodical approach to retouching.
- Juggle multiple projects with different deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to do high resolution image capture and scanning.
- Stay up to date with Adobe Photoshop techniques and best practices, and the latest trends in ever-evolving digital asset creation.
- Enthusiasm for exploring new techniques and ideas in pursuit of improving existing workflow.
- Knowledge of studio photography and lighting practices, as well as photographic vocabulary and terms.
- Passionate about teamwork and team building
- Willingness to embrace giving and receiving critical feedback.
