Our client is a commercial and industrial service provider for HVAC solutions, specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to their customers nationwide. They are looking for an HR Manager to join their team in their Detroit, Michigan office.


Your new role

Talent Acquisition is a large component of this position as they are investing in the steady growth of their business. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will also support other HR functions including onboarding, policies, procedures, benefit administration, etc., as the sole HR person in the business.


What you will need to succeed

  • 5-10 years of hands-on HR experience from HVAC or similar industry.
  • Experience with end-to-end recruitment for positions for field sales, technicians, tradesmen or similar.
  • Experience working for a startup or small organization as an individual contributor in HR.
  • Strong organizational skills and can manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
