We are recruiting for an Electrical Engineer with experience in a manufacturing setting, this position will collaborate with reliability and mechanical engineers as well as operations to ensure optimal performance of equipment and minimal downtime along with maximum efficiently.
This position offers a benefits package including medical, dental, life, disability, paid time off, quarterly bonus, and an automatic and matching employer 401K contribution, an annual salary of 90-130K annually, with bonus eligibility, relocation assistance is available.
The Electrical Engineer will:
- Provide technical support to maintenance and operations to improve equipment uptime, capability, reliability, and throughput.
- Provide technical oversight of manufacturing equipment and systems
- Have solid knowledge of and experience in applying Engineering Fundamentals in a manufacturing setting
- Spend roughly 70% of their time on the production floor, observing, making recommendations for process improvements and interacting with operators, maintenance, reliability, and operations
- Assessing and reporting safety hazards associated with low to medium voltage equipment
- Preferred knowledge and troubleshooting skills of overhead and gantry cranes
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, controls, drives, DC/AC control systems, and 13.8 KV/480 KV power systems
- PLC programming (ex. Allen Bradley, Siemens, Modicon)
- Work with frequency drives, combustion systems, and instrumentation control.
- Utilize knowledge of National Electrical Code, including NFPA70E
- Estimate maintenance/project cost and accurate timelines
