Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) has an opportunity for a Electro Mechanical Assembler to join the Archbald, PA team. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:Work in a team or solo environment to assemble components and main assembliesSupports the manufacture of harnesses, circuit cards and miscellaneous assembliesDiligently follow work instructions to ensure product specs, performance targets and qualitylevels are metForm Components and hand or machine populate circuit cardsAssembler would operate various equipment such as but not limited to Laser wire strippers,crimpers, pneumatic tools etc.Perform detailed soldering operations on micro and sub miniature components and parts asassignedBuilding of precision Electro Mechanical Assemblies, wiring of assemblies and sub assembliesSupports continuous improvement activities and participates in problem solving activitiesContribute to a safe working environment by following safety requirementsWork to ESD RequirementsUse hand tools, computers, and other equipment to manufacture the productAbility to perform all jobs within work areaAbility to multi-task, sit or stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 40 lbs.Assist in the training of employees as assignedPerforms miscellaneous duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalentThe ability to work to written work instructionsExperience using a variety hand tools and measuring devicesAbility to support a flexible work schedule supporting overtime, off-Fridays, weekends, and/oralternate shifts to support product schedules as requiredAchieve the defined quality and HPU standards for assigned workAbility to become certified in Cable and Harness ClassAbility to become certified in JSTSTD Mods 001-002Ability to become certified in any required skills or processesBasic computer skillsMust be a US CitizenDesired Skills:Ability to read and work to blue prints and schematicsPrevious Electro Mechanical experiencePrevious certification in industry standardsPrevious experience on cable and harness manufacturingPrevious Circuit card manufacturing experienceClearance Level: NoneOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
