Job Title: *Cabinet Maker II*
Job Type: *Full Time; Contract*
Location: *Dallas, TX*
Schedule: *2nd Shift*
Pay Rate:* $26.94 per hour*
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years experience in cabinetmaking.
*Skill-based Terms*: cabinetmaking, blueprints, aircraft specifications, design/engineering drawings, drawer-slides, hinges, latches, laminates, veneers, cap strips, power tools, material tracking system.
*Job Summary* The candidate will fabricate aircraft furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies in accordance with design and engineering drawings while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. They will also assist more experienced team members to improve workmanship techniques.
This job is about making wooden parts for airplanes like seats and cabinets using special drawings to guide you. You'll also help others get better at making these parts.

* *Skill Requirements* Must-Have:
*cabinetmaking* experience
Ability to read *blueprints*, *aircraft specifications*, and *design/engineering drawings*
Experience installing hardware such as *drawer-slides*, *hinges*, and *latches*
Proficiency in applying surface materials like *laminates*, *veneers*, and *cap strips*
Skilled in using various types of stationary and hand-held *power tools*
Preferred:
Knowledge of the company s inspection and process specifications
Experience in the aerospace industry
Familiarity with Lean Six-Sigma process improvement techniques
*Pay Details:* $26.94 per hour
