For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $2000 sign on bonus for
Patient Service Representatives (PSRs):

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time PSR position.
    Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible;
    former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Your role:

Lincoln Medical Partners Family Practice Waldoboro is offering an exciting opportunity for candidates with strong communication and administrative skills, a positive attitude and proven record of reliability to join our team as a Patient Service Representative. This Patient Service Representative (PSR) will work a small team with Medical Assistants, RN's, and providers to enhance patient care by getting to know a team of familiar faces. This position requires a positive attitude to contribute to the team spirit within the practice.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • License/Certifications: N/A
  • Experience: Six months to one-year medical office related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Ability to perform operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
