**Practice Area Profile**

In this role, you will apply deep Agile expertise and practical delivery experience to create differentiated value for our clients across industries.
**(Senior) IT Consultants at BCG Platinion are:**
* **Agile Experts**. They have a deep understanding of the conceptual theory behind Agile methodologies practically leverage their knowledge to drive meaningful client impact and tangible results in real-world settings, both digital and non-digital (e.g., in other functions like marketing, finance, or control functions).
* **Delivery Leaders**. They have led and participated in large-scale digital product and service delivery programs. They know how to lead delivery teams, from defining KPIs and metrics to inform program decision-making to motivating software engineers to perform at their best.
* **Collaborative**. They are interdisciplinary team players who seek alignment and establish relationships across all levels of the organization ranging from individual and technical contributors, all the way to senior program and executive leadership.
* **Comfortable with ambiguity.** They know the path forward isnt always well-defined. They are comfortable and confident working through the unknown, and creating structure in times of uncertainty.
* **Technical Experts.** They are familiar with topics from the office of CIO / CTO (e.g., program selection, enterprise technology decisions, etc.) and with the major enterprise systems of a typical Fortune 100 companys IT estate.
* **Pioneers.** They are up-to-date on the latest Agile thinking and innovative techniques in order to push their clients to test and learn with new practices that will set them apart from their competitors.
* **Change agents.** They know how to make change happen across an organization and within a Program (e.g., team-of-teams, teams, etc.). They can align and onboard teams to implement new Agile processes and tools. They embrace complex challenges and guide an organization to optimize best practices
**Youre Good At:**
* Working with one to three Agile teams as part of a cross-functional joint BCG-client team collaborating closely with Agile teams, their managers, leadership, and shared services and control functions
* Leading the delivery of digital products and services including managing overall program governance, surfacing and resolving risks, promoting transparency, and communicating with stakeholders both within BCG and the client
* Conducting training on Agile concepts, values, culture, behaviors, practices, processes, and tools
* Designing and launching new Agile teams from scratch, including engaging in hands-on coaching (e.g., as a Scrum Master) or leading the delivery of a team / team-of-teams
* Communicating with both technical developers and senior business stakeholders, including the ability to challenge and advise various stakeholders across all organization levels
* Flexing across a variety of client and commercial contexts examples include developing functional product concepts, restructuring core technology processes, conducting technology product management, leading quality assurance, and delivering technology due diligence
**What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)**
**You Bring:**
* BA/BS in business administration, business management, organizational psychology, information technology, computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, system controls, or a related field
* One or more of the following certifications:
+ Scrum Alliance (CSM, CSPO, or CSD)
+ Scrum.org (PSM, PSPO, PSD, or SPS)
+ SAFe (SA, SSM, POPM, or SPC)
* Experience with DevSecOps, Quality Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering
* 2+ years of experience as an Agile practitioner, having worked in or on Agile teams, or equivalent experience
* Industry experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Coach preferred
* A team-oriented mindset with a track record of successful collaboration can bring that experience to an interdisciplinary team of diverse clients and BCG colleagues
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with individuals one-on-one and in a group setting (e.g., by conducting formal trainings as needed)
* Ability to vividly communicate using clear, crisp narratives with supporting evidence
* Experience developing client relationships
* A passion for driving change
