**Description**
**Position:** Electrical Assembler **Salary Grade:** 4
**Primary Purpose:** Build and repair electrical panels, systems, and components for industrial machinery and equipment following schematics, blueprints, and electrical code, for departments at Oak Press Solutions Inc.

**Responsibilities: Quantifiable metrics to which a person is held accountable**
* Correctly and with a quality focus wire electrical panels following schematics and blueprints.
* Correctly install power supply wiring and conduit for machines following manuals, schematics, and blueprints using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
* Accurately and safely connect power supply wires and cables to and between machines and equipment.
* Learn to diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and other electrical components using test equipment, and bring to an effective workable solution.
* Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, and circuit boards, rewire motors as needed, and ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently.
* Adjust and inspect machines to ensure functionality and structural and cosmetic compliance before shipping.
**Skills: Essential qualifications and functions gained through training and experience**
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to receive forklift license and learn to operate cranes and man-lifts.
Must have math skills and ability to utilize various measurement tools.
Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, and flexible.
Ability to remain calm and determined to attain goals.
High energy level, comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
