Venture Dynamics is seeking 1st class CNC Machinists who is able to set up and operate a variety of CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) machines for the manufacture of parts requiring high volume production and diverse machining operations.
Works from established programs to perform standard metal cutting operations. Determines appropriate speeds and feeds based on equipment used.
Follows set-up instructions to attach holding fixtures, and insert specified tools in tool magazine according to sequence, depth and size requirements.
Troubleshoots simple programs and makes necessary edits to achieve specifications. Adjusts machine to achieve specified measurements and continuous operation as well as monitors for tool breakage and wear.
Verifies first place dimensions using precision measuring instruments.
May be required to fabricate simple tooling.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
Must have 3 to 5 years experience as a machinist.
Previous experience with 4 or 5 axis CNC Milling machines and composites experience is a plus.
Must have own transportation
Must be US Citizen
Must pass drug and background screening
