Inova Lorton Surgery Center is currently hiring Full-Time experienced PreOp/PACU Registered Nurses (RN) to become integral members of our team, delivering unparalleled care to our patients. This position is available for 5x8 or 4x10, No Nights - No Weekends - No Holidays - No Call.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Conduct care to patients across the Perianesthesia scope
- Monitor and chart vital signs, such as heart or respiratory rate, blood pressure, or oxygen level
- Comfort patients as they wake; may be required to gently restrain patients
- Check surgical site for excessive bleeding or swelling
- Educate patients on care for surgical wounds or other post-discharge care.
- Cross-train to work in pre-operative area to meet the needs of the unit
EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEED:- One or more years of PACU/Critical Care nursing experience in an ambulatory surgery or acute hospital setting
- Prior PreOp and PostOp experience in an ASC is strongly desired
- Graduate from an accredited nursing institution, BSN preferred
- Current licensure in Virginia as a Registered Nurse
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS/PALS certification preferred within six (6) months of date of hire
