Job Description SummaryJoin us at our Muskegon site to help support production operations related to the manufacture of high-quality turbine airfoil products.Essential Responsibilities:Assemble and TIG weld aerospace castings and details.Use fixtures, tools and gauges to produce aerospace parts meetings blueprint drawing tolerances.Follow detailed work instructions.Practice weld procedures per GE and Nadcap/AWS specifications.Work in a team environment, participate in Action Workouts, and contribute to the LEAN Manufacturing workplacePractice safe work habits and maintain a hazard-free work environment.Requirements include:Must have minimum of two years Gas Tungsten Arc welding experience (on the job or in the classroom).Pass Gas Tungsten Arc Weld test on nickel base, cobalt base and stainless-steel alloys (groove and fillet welding per MIL-W-1595)Must be able to complete qualification training on nickel and cobalt per AWS D17.1Desirable Qualifications:Prefer 2 years of college or trade school background or professional industry equivalency
