THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking an experienced Concentrate Logistics Coordinator to join our Site Services Team at our Pilgangoora Operation.

Reporting to the Concentrate Logistics Superintendent, the Concentrate Logistics Coordinator is responsible for creating blend plans, scheduling concentrate haulage to the Wedgefield holding facility and generate ship loading plans to meet sales and marketing forecasts. The Concentrate Logistics Coordinator is also responsible for concentrate accounting and reconciliation from site production through to sales including both spodumene and tantalite concentrate.

This is a permanent full-time position which operates on a FIFO 8/6 roster from Perth or DIDO from Port Hedland.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working collaboratively with the Metallurgists, Processing & Shipping teams in maintaining and monitoring production and shipping schedules derived from the production budget and forecast.
  • Operational oversight of the site logistics contractor.
  • Metallurgical Accounting and reconciliation of concentrate.
  • Developing daily, weekly & monthly logistics haulage plans to meet the shipping forecast.
  • Identifying and implementing efficiency improvements throughout the concentrate logistics value chain.
  • Ensuring product grade and moisture content is to the client specification and available to meet shipping schedules.
  • Tracking, monitoring and reporting on variables and shortfalls to mitigate risk in meeting shipping schedules.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Previous experience in scheduling, monitoring product movement and transportation logistics
  • Previous experience with bulk product logistics including haulage and shipping
  • Contractor management experience preferred
  • Concentrate accounting and reconciliation skills are essential
  • Good interpersonal skills along with strong communication and stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve a coordinated effort in scheduling and resolving issues across multiple teams
  • Excellent Excel skills and Microsoft office products
  • Sound organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Strong commitment to promote safe working practices and adhere to all safety standards
