Swift Sensors is growing and seeking an Embedded Software Engineer specializing in Java and Linux to join our R&D team. As an integral member of our development team, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing embedded software solutions for our cutting edge products. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and debug embedded software solutions using Java programming language for Linux-based systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Architect and implement software components for embedded systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
Optimize software for resource-constrained embedded platforms, including memory and power management.
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in embedded software development.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Solid understanding of embedded systems development principles and practices.
Proficiency in Java programming language, with experience in developing embedded software applications.
Strong knowledge of Linux operating system internals and experience with Linux-based embedded systems.
Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux distributions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
Passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies in embedded software development.
