Overview

Chesapeake Search Partners is a search firm that helps our clients identify and hire professionals with specific experience and qualifications. We are seeking an experienced recruiter to join our team. The incumbent will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting including, collaboration with clients, qualifying potential searches, sourcing and screening candidates, expanding your professional network, and growing the CSP brand. The Search Consultant position is a rewarding opportunity for individuals with proven work experience as an Agency Recruiter, Corporate Recruiter, or similar role.


POSITION SUMMARY

The Search Consultant position is a challenging and rewarding opportunity at CSP. In this role the incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of the recruiting process. This will include hands-on recruiting, fostering long-term client and candidate relationships and collaborating with other team members.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Organize, update, and maintain candidates data (i.e., resumes, availability, and contact details) in internal databases.

Build and maintain relationships with candidates to ensure the best opportunities for CSP to place them.

Effectively manage and lead client relationships, including consistent client updates and portfolio management.

Actively identify and engage in strategic partner relationships with current and potential clients.

Create talent pipelines with high-potential candidates for current and future job opportunities.

Assist with new hire onboarding activities such as reference checks, offer letters, etc.

Promote the CSP brand and the respective practice online and offline.

Participate in networking and practice-specific events.

Special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor s degree required
  • Proven work experience as a Staffing Agency Recruiter, Corporate Recruiter, or similar role
  • Experience with various interview formats, including phone screenings, in-person interviews, and panel interviews
  • Proficiency with MS Suite of tools, SharePoint, 365, etc.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Experience using professional social networks (i.e., LinkedIn)
  • Enthusiasm to network and communicate with others
  • Hustle, tenacity, and determination to succeed while helping grow the CSP brand
  • Previous sales/recruiting experience (including internships) is a plus
  • Experience working in a performance-driven environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse team environment
