**Description**

**Summary**

Responsible for assisting in managing the restaurant and retail market operations during all shifts, including evening and weekend shifts. This position will assist with developing and leading staff including staff training, process improvement and leading our team consistent with our Diamond Philosophy. Will assure that facility is operational at all times, and with proper procedures set forth by management, regulatory requirements and in a way that demonstrates a clear relationship with our customer and community. Ensure all cleaning and closing procedures are done on a consistent basis. Will be accountable for product knowledge and quality control.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

Duties include but not limited to:

* Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times.

* Lead the companys mission by ensuring to first identify, then satisfy the customers needs profitably creating a positive, welcoming, friendly environment.

* Assist in training of all team members in the restaurant and market.

* Assist in ordering of products and supplies; manage inventory and count at the close of the day at the end of the period.

* Assist customers with inquiries and complaints.

* Ensure that all facility and equipment is kept clean and in good working order.

* Assist with team member relations issues as needed.

* Perform other duties, as assigned.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**

Directly supervises team members in the Restaurant and retail department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

**Qualifications**

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to successfully perform the job.

**A. Education and Experience**

Required :

* High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

* Minimum one year related experience and/or training. Has experience running shifts without supervision.

* Equivalent combination of education and experience.

**B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements**

* Oregon Liquor Control commission Server Permit

* Oregon State Food Handlers permit

**C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required**

* Ability to work full time.

* Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

* Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Effective communication skills.

* Basic math, reading and computer skills

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

* Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy once given directions.

* Ability to multi task successfully

* Ability to solve problems as they arise.

**Total Compensation**
