JOB SUMMARY
Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled, independent Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to maintain & repair our Automated People Mover System. This role will assess the working condition of all equipment, performing regular inspections and diagnostic repair as needed. This is a full-time, hourly overnight (10:00pm-6:00am) position hiring at $20.00-$25.00 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES- Meticulously clean & inspect all PLC's, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, electrical & mechanical systems present in our Automated People Mover System.
- Follow all required standard operating procedures (SOP's), policies and regulations.
- Monitor tram system and follow up with all alarm indicators (e.g. abnormal noises, system error messages, etc.).
- In the event of a breakdown: diagnose the problem and repair as needed.
- Collaborate with Assistant Maintenance Technician on minor repairs when appropriate.
- Maintain a clean & safe working environment including trains and the repair shop.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- High school diploma/GED equivalent.
- Previous technical experience with PLC's, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC systems.
- Previous experience diagnosing & repairing electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read & comprehend complex blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Permanent Resident or US Citizen.
- Proficient in the English language.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS- At least 1 year of transit system maintenance & repair.
