Start your new career as a Tool Prep Operator with MAU at TIGHITCO in Ladson, SC. As a Tool Prep Operator, you will clean and prep bond tools as needed, using chemicals, adhesives, and solvents as required.

What We're Looking For - High school diploma or GED
- Forklift and machine operator experience
- Ability to train on 1st or 2nd shift
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings
- Ability to climb or balance, stoop, bend, crouch, and crawl
- Ability to lift 26 - 50 pounds
What You'll Do as a Tool Prep Operator - Unbag and demold parts as needed and clean area after doing so
- Observe safety and security procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions
- Adapt to changes in the work environment
- Manage competing demands
- Change approach or method to best fit the situation
- Handle frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events
- Clean as you go to keep areas FOD free
- Follow 5S
- Act in a manner that will always enhance the integrity and respect of the department and company
- Assist with Autoclave - receive vacuum bagged product from Layup department
- Visually check own work prior to submitting for inspection
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Obtain and maintain a valid forklift license
- Accurately record all paperwork and labor entries associated with theposition
- Perform other tasks as assigned
