**Summary of Key Responsibilities**

The Director, IDNs and Health Systems will be responsible for implementation of the overall account-based strategy including hospital systems, IDNs and large group practices.

He/She will work closely with Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales, Patient Support Services, Legal, Compliance and other colleagues to drive holistic strategies designed to achieve goals.

Leverage a range of strategies and tactics to maximize the level and quality of access for Alnylam products.

Engage IDN/Health system senior level stakeholders to enable patients to effectively navigate the treatment journey and help ensure appropriate use of Alnylam products.

Identify programs to partner with the IDN to enhance the system of care and clinical decision making.

Provide insights, education, and information about scientific, clinical and technological innovation.

Prepare for potential future launches, assuring maximum preparedness with key customers

Identify new business opportunities that enable overall business development targets to be exceeded.

**Qualifications**

10+ years of successful IDN experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry

MBA and/or other advanced scientific degree preferred (i.e., M.D., PhD or PharmD).

Must demonstrate ability to collaborate across enterprise cross functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Patient Support Services, Medical and Market Access.

Must be familiar with relevant legal and regulatory environment in biotech/pharmaceutical industry.

Ability to influence support and action from peers and other internal stakeholders.

Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.

Ability to travel 50% of the time.

If employed in the U.S., being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is required.
