Hotel Front Desk Clerk (7 am to 3 pm Shift)We are searching for an enthusiastic, service-focused hotel front desk agent to join our guest services team. You ll welcome guests, manage accounts, answer inquiries and field complaints to ensure we deliver an excellent experience to every guest. If you love interacting with people in a positive work environment, apply now!Responsibilities:Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account informationGreet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card informationHandle customer complaints as necessaryCommunicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are readyAnswer incoming calls and questions about guests needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, available rooms, rewards programs, and special requestsProvide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenitiesConfirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guestsUpsell additional facilities and services, when appropriateManage online and phone reservationsQualifications:High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalentWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systemsPossesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skillsWell-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situationsAt least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferredAbout Company:We are an interior corridor hotel with about 5 5-minute drive from Kansas City International Airport.
