Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist
Location: Devens, MA (Onsite)
Duration: 6 months, possibility of extension
Possible temp to hire, conversion to FTE

Work Schedule: 9 am - 5 pm, M-F (Onsite)


Job Description:
The purpose of this position is:

" Conduct customer service activities desk-side with individual users or over remote Client ess software.
" Build Windows computers, MacBooks, and iPad devices per company standards.
" Support enterprise and laboratory computer systems and conduct troubleshooting.
" Assess ticket queues and coordinate incident resolution with internal and external supp ort providers.
" Thoroughly document work in a ticketing system.
" Conduct technology training for end-users.
" Set up desks with appropriate technology.
" Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
" Arrange repairs with external vendors.
" Support conference room technology and assist with meeting setups.
" Assist with patching devices.
" Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
" Maintain inventory of assigned equipment and supplies in the IT storage areas.
" Complete all activities following approved SOPs and IT guidelines.
" Responsible for additional tasks as assigned IT management.

Must have skill sets and requirements:
" Microsoft and MacOS/iOS experience
" Dell and Lenovo hardware troubleshooting
" Client and Canon printer troubleshooting

Education and requirements:
" 1-3 Years of experience working in a technical computing environment in a fast-paced company.
" Strong technology troubleshooting skills.
" Ability to work independently as well as part of a growing team.
" Experience working with and troubleshooting Windows and MacOS.
" Experience with troubleshooting Office365 and Exchange.
" Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
" Keen attention to detail and ability to follow process and procedure.
" Strong interpersonal problem-solving skills.
" Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
" Ability to work onsite in compliance with the Company's Health & Safety protocols.

" Experience working in a manufacturing environment
