This Manager will train new team members in SCM best practices to support the Procurement Solutions line of business and scale the department as AGS portfolio grows.The Supply Chain Manager, Procurement Solutions will partner with Program Leaders to effectively manage service provider relationships, often serving as the primary point of contact for executive level relationships at the national account level.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):Serve as primary contact for supplier related issues/projectsProvide strategic oversight and technical guidance for all Procurement Solutions accountsBuild strategic relationships with procurement solutions suppliersSupport the business development process for new/potential procurement solutions accounts as well as expansion and evolution of existing procurement solutions accountsProvide a consultation to potential new clients (either those within the AGS staff aug portfolio or the BD pipeline) and analyze their data and technology setup to determine their story and provide recommendations for the best in class servicesLiaise with other GBS teams and PMO to determine current program landscape, challenges and desired outcomes ensuring a cohesive solution for the clientUsing data to influence client decisions and why other suppliers (consulting companies) can do the job just as well or better (quality, price, speed)Manage client expectations through timely feedback and proactive communicationAnalyze business information to identify issues or trends and propose actions to refine successManage a team of Supply Chain Consultants dedicated to procurement solutions accountsCareer manage team, including performance and EBR'sTrain and mentor teamFUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGEExperience with procurement and/or sourcing processes, focused on services spend categoriesDeep understanding of strategic sourcing and category management processes and their connection to broader procurement strategyCorrelation of spend data to strategic decisionsStrong knowledge of MSP value proposition, and its relation to management of services spend.BUSINESS ACUMENLeading and managing a team of high performersDeveloping people in a customer-focused work environmentManage complex customer issuesHigh level of service deliveryExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong data competency specific to spend analysisAbility to derive "data stories" from structured data elements to enable and drive decision makingAble to interpret complex data and distill down to meaningful and consumable elementsAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skillsProject planningStrong competency in change management principles and proven results in driving change and influencing detractorsRisk identification and development of mitigation strategiesFinancial results and definition and development of cost savings approachesLEADERSHIP AND EXPERIENCE3-5 years of procurement experience, or equivalent functional competencies requiredBachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on business, finance or supply chain managementAt AGS, we recognize our people are our strength.
