Clementine Paper creates fresh, fun, and fashionable eco-friendly notebooks, planners, stationery, gift wrap, greeting cards, paper storage, and various other products for mass retailers such as Target and TJ Maxx.
We are looking for a talented Design Manager who will receive artwork from our illustrators and lead the subsequent product design portion of our business. The Manager should have a demonstrated ability to lead people and projects, and a willingness to be very hands-on.
This is the perfect position for someone who is self-motivated, and both creative and technically oriented. Our product design team is responsible for applying, expanding, and improving upon artwork provided as well as specifying the details on products such as foils, glitters, bag handles, and various other embellishments so it requires a creative eye.
NOTE: This is an on-site only job.
Position Responsibilities:
Oversee small team of designers who apply art from the creative team to various product types, ensuring projects are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Use knowledge of design to fine-tune the artwork supplied from the creative team, to maintain quality and brand integrity.
Prepare production-ready files for paper office and stationery products using Illustrator and Photoshop on a Mac platform
Pass files and relevant information to factories
Check pre-production and production samples for accuracy
Create pattern repeats
Managing digital assets
Creating product mockups or linesheets, or other assignments as needed
